Thanks for the inspiration Samme...
I am learning Spanish, and as a part of the Love Project, my learning another language can help break down misunderstandings and communication walls. Thereby helping to create Unity in our World.
I'm primarily undertaking my learnings from my work collegues, as we have many spanish speakers there, so it is daily vocabulary/dialog I'm learning. For me it takes *much* repetition... I have a cd-rom by Rosetta Stone, but I haven't used it in quite a while.

Help

This is a great and exciting undertaking to learn another language. Good luck and blessings. I would like to grant you as part of The Love Project to grant you or award you with some Spanish Language CDs. Thank you for your efforts.
love and light,
Samme
I’ve heard Rosetta Stone is good. What I’ve seen of the R.S. Portuguese program, I’d have to agree.
Spanish is one of the easier languages to learn for a variety of reasons. I found it to be so myself.
The key is making the transition from knowledge to practice (praxis). Knowledge is fundamental, but fluency is only reached when that knowledge becomes second nature and spontaneous.
I got a great boost from recordings of spoken Spanish.
Some people find grammar an obstacle, but I found studying grammar immensely helpful. Grammar, to use an information technology metaphor, is essentially a rules engine.
Whether you’re talking about vocabulary or grammar, nothing replaces repetition. You must converse in Spanish only as often as you can. Consider a trip to some Spanish-speaking locale.
Best of luck!
